Cenarth Paintball & Laser Combat Games

Safety

Cenarth Paintball Games is one of the first sites in the UK to become an Accredited Venue by the UKPSF (United Kingdom Paintball Sites Federation). The federation issues site guidelines on safety that must be followed to remain a member.  The 'Site Accreditation Scheme' (which started in 2005) focuses on 'player's safety'. It involves sites being rigorously inspected to ensure high standards in safety, facilities, service, staff and equipment.

Cenarth Paintball Games had a very successful inspection in June 2005, when it became the first accredited venue in Wales.

Health & Safety Inspection

Carmarthenshire Health and Safety Officer last inspected the site in June 2006. The report was very positive and no issues of concern were reported. The next inspection is not due until September 2007.

Safety Comes First

Due to the nature of the environment you'll be playing in, you will obviously need to take care during the games. You are responsible for your own safety and as long as you follow the safety rules and act sensibly you will not place yourself at any unnecessary risk.

Safety Rules

Safety is paramount in paintball and MUST be taken seriously by all those playing. Upon arrival at the site you will be asked to read and sign an insurance waiver & rental agreement, which states you are agreeing to follow all of the safety rules. A full safety talk is given to inform you of all the safety rules, game rules and to show you how to operate the equipment correctly and safely. There is also a full list of the safety rules in the reception area and you can ask any of our trained marshals for assistance if you are unsure of anything.

It is important to note that any breach of safety rules will result in your game session ending immediately. Whilst your friends will carry on playing, you will not be allowed to play again during that session.

Please note:
Players under the influence of alcohol / illegal drugs are prohibited from playing paintball on this site. Basically, do not drink or take anything illegal the morning/afternoon before you intend to play, as for safety reasons you will not be allowed to play and your deposit/fee will not be refunded.

Supervision

All games are fully supervised at all times by our trained and experienced marshals. Their main role is to ensure the safety and game rules are being followed, but they are also there to assist you if you need additional help during the session.

Equipment Safety

All of our paintball equipment is checked before every game. The guns are chronographed for firing speed before every game to ensure they are within the safe legal limit. Guns are also cleaned, oiled and maintained daily to ensure they are reliable, consistent and accurate during play. To find out more about the equipment we use on site, look in the equipment section of the website.

First Aid

The reception area is the main first aid point on site, where the fully equipped first aid box and stretcher is stored. At least one fully qualified First Aider will also be out in the game field with you at all times. We also have a qualified Fire Warden on site, to ensure safe evacuation in the unlikely event of a fire!
